On Sunday let‘s hike in the lush village of Menites together with the Association of Menites and have fun at the Association’s traditional feast of “Chirosfagia”!
On Sunday the 29th of October 2023 let’s walk at wooded Menites with the Menites Cultural Association!
- We walk through the wooded Menites village towards the upper part of the village, making a circle around the impressive fertile valley, passing by the ravine with the watermills, the Menites springs and the church of Panagia Koumoulou
- The people from the Menites Cultural Association will guide us
- After the end of the hike, those who wish may attend the traditional feast “Chirosfagia” at the Menites Cultural Association for food and lottery! (entry fee 12 euro to the Association that includes snack and wine)
Difficulty level: medium, distance: 3 km
With our steps we are helping to keep the path open! Along the way we will also cut back any vegetation which has grown back to block the path and clear any garbage.
