Join us on our 8th 2017 maintenance hike from Apikia to Evrouses forest and river and then to Strapouries mill village !

    • We meet at Strapouries and with a mini bus travel to Apikia where from we start our hike

    • Following the lovely “steni” (walled path) we cross the wooded slope and the successive ravines eventually reaching the forest and ravine of Evrouses (we have the option here to take a 2km (both ways) detour to Ano EvrousesO

    • We continue towards the chapel of Taxiarchis Gabriel and then descend towards the picturesque village of Strapouries with its springs and the impressive Athinaios Tower.

    • Difficulty level : medium-difficult, distance : 4.7 km +2 km (if we decide to take the detour to Ano Evrouses)

    • With our steps we are helping to keep the path open! Along the way we will also cut back any vegetation which has grown back to block the path and clear any garbage.
