On Sunday the 17th pf April 2022  let’s hike together on the beautiful route Piso Meria – Prophet Elias – Beaches of Stavros & Steno!

• A route to discover the unique rural landscape of South Andros. Impressive diversity of landscapes, from the mountains of Rachi to the southern coastline of”steno” between Andros and Tinos. The route initially ascends from the settlement of Nionas to the wooded slope of Rachi. Then passing by from Prophet Elias chapel it descends to the wonderful rural area of “steno”offering impressive views to the southern coastline and the rural landscape with amazing dry stone constructions. The route ends at the pristine beaches of Stavros and Steno just a breath away from the island of Tinos.
• At the end of the hike, on the beach of Steno, there will be a picnic. You can bring goodies and snacks you would like to share with the group
• Participation will be limited.

By means of our hike we help to keep the route in good condition! On our way we will also trim any vegetation which blocks the path and collect the  garbage.

• During the walk, the necessary distances and safety measures will be kept
• Looking forward to walking with you!

• Difficulty level : medium-difficult, distance : about 7 km
