Alexandros Mavis

Alexandros Mavis started his career in the textile industry, specialising in waste management. In 1999 he moved to Andros as the local coordinator and research manager of the LIFE program.Alexandros has been a pro-active campaigner of change on environmental and sustainability issues for over 20 years. He is a legal representative of Diktio Aigaiou,  a network of Enviromental NGO’s and individuals across the Aegean.

Alexandros holds a degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College London and a European Masters degree in Environmental Management, with a specialization, at the University of Parma, in “New technologies and management techniques for river valleys”.
