    An enjoyable route from the ancient capital of Andros, Paleopolis, traversing mountain range Kouvara. The beautiful valley of Paleopolis with its archaeological museum, the old cobbled path-part of an ancient route, the waterfalls of Ano Paleopolis, the breathtaking views towards the west coastline and the cosmopolitan Batsi are just some of the many attractions.

    • if you do this hike vice verca (from Batsi to Paleopolis) you can combine it with a swimm at Paleopolis beach via the rest of route 9a, passing through ancient ruins and enjoying the homonymous fertile valley
